Eligibility

The Website may be used by both consumers and business users.

Accounts (where enabled)

If account creation is enabled, you must:

• keep your password secure,
• notify us of any suspected unauthorised access.

We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these Terms. Suspension or deletion does not remove any payment owed for confirmed bookings.

3. Training Services and Course Bookings

Course Information

Course descriptions, fees, durations and entry requirements are shown on the Website or provided by us directly. We take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy but may update details from time to time.

How Bookings Are Made

A booking is made when:

• you submit a booking form or request a place, and
• we confirm the booking in writing (e.g. by email), and/or
• payment is received (for prepaid courses).

A course place is not guaranteed until confirmed by us.

Employer and Business Bookings

Where an employer books training for its employees:

• the employer is the contracting party,
• the employer is responsible for payment,
• the employer confirms that participants meet course requirements.

Participant Requirements

For safety and certification purposes, participants may be required to:

• attend the full duration of the course,
• wear appropriate PPE,
• have sufficient English to understand the training or provide an approved interpreter,
• hold the correct licence or permit where required.

We may refuse participation or certification if requirements are not met or if the participant arrives late.

Conduct and Safety

Participants must follow trainer instructions and any site safety rules. We may remove participants whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or influenced by alcohol or drugs. No refund is due in such cases.

4. Prices, Payment and Invoicing

Prices

Prices are those listed on the Website or quoted directly by Robe Training. Confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed price.

VAT: Robe Training is currently VAT-exempt for education and training services under Irish tax law. Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT, and no VAT is charged.

Payment

Unless we agree otherwise in writing:

• individuals must pay at the time of booking,
• businesses may be invoiced on agreed terms.

If payment is not received, we may cancel the booking and offer the place to another participant.

Payment Processing

Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. We do not store full card details on the Website.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds

All cancellation, rescheduling and refund rules are governed exclusively by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

By booking training with Robe Training, you agree to the procedures and deadlines outlined in that policy.

Where there is any difference between these Terms and the Cancellation & Refund Policy, the Cancellation & Refund Policy prevails for all matters relating to cancellations, rescheduling and refunds.

6. Certificates and Proof of Training

Certificates or attendance records will be issued only where:

• the participant has attended the full course,
• assessment or competency requirements have been met,
• all required participant details have been provided.

We are not responsible for delays caused by external certification bodies such as SOLAS or the RSA.

7. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all Website content is owned by Robe Training or its licensors.

You may view and print pages for personal reference only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or publish Website content without written permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Website in any way that:

• is unlawful,
• infringes the rights of Robe Training or any third party,
• attempts to gain unauthorised access,
• introduces malware or other harmful material.

Training Environment

Training is delivered competently and safely. Participants must follow instructions and site safety rules. We are not liable for loss or injury caused by failure to follow instructions.

Indirect Loss

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including:

• loss of business,
• loss of profit,
• loss of opportunity.

Limit of Liability

For any claim relating to a paid booking, our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for that booking.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Robe Training for any claim arising from misuse of the Website or breach of these Terms.

12. Service Changes and Interruptions

We may suspend or modify the Website to carry out maintenance or updates. Where services are withdrawn permanently, we will inform users where reasonably possible.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version applicable at the time of your booking will govern that booking. Continued use of the Website after updates constitutes acceptance.

14. Assignment

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation as part of a business transfer. You may not transfer your rights without our written consent.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Irish law. The courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
